Hurricane Classic is hand-blown in Bohemia, home to the world's best glassblowers, and painted by hand in metallic colours, which gives the lamp a vibrant and opulent glow. As stunning during the day as it is at night, it can even be used as a beautiful vase for flowers.

Usage
Hurricane Classic Small is designed primarily as a candle holder but can also be used as a small vase if desired.

Candle Size Guide
For our Classic Small you should use a standard tealight (up to max 35 mm diameter). We recommend our own HURRICANE TEALIGHTS 24HRS, 12-pack

Cleaning Your Hurricane
The best cleaning method for Classic Small to keep it spotless without damage or scratches.

  • Handle with care to avoid scratches.
  • Wipe the exterior with a slightly damp microfiber cloth—no strong chemicals or abrasives.
  • Clean the inside with lukewarm water and mild detergent.
  • Hand wash only – the lantern is not dishwasher safe.

Safety First
Safety is important, so keep the following safety measures in mind

  • Always burn candles in a well-ventilated room on a heat-resistant surface Never leave them unattended.
  • Keep out of reach of children and pets, and away from drafts or moving air to prevent flickering and smoke.
  • Ensure candles are fully extinguished before leaving the room.
  • Never place candles near anything flammable.

Sales Condition

Return Policy
We do not offer free returns. We offer a 14-day return period, provided that the items are intact, unused, and in their original packaging. Refund will be issued with a deduction of a return fee. Please note that the refund will be made once the goods have been returned to our warehouse.

Returns will be charged a 10% return fee of order values up to 300€/3000SEK. If the order value exceeds 300€/3000SEK. a 5% return fee will be charged.

How Hurricane Classic is made

Discover the timeless elegance of Skogsberg & Smart’s Hurricane Classic collection — where traditional glassblowing meets exceptional craftsmanship.

Each hurricane is handblown by a dedicated team of four glassmakers, working in perfect harmony to shape molten glass using time-honoured techniques. The process demands extraordinary skill, precision, and experience at every stage.

A defining feature of the collection is the fire-polished rim, achieved through a highly specialised finishing technique. Using wooden tools and wet paper inside the blazing hot glass, artisans refine the edge to create a soft, organic finish — a process that requires years of expertise to master.

The decorative surface is equally complex. Metallic pigments are carefully hand-applied in a completely dust-free environment, using a unique composition that fuses into the hot glass during firing. This creates the signature semi-transparent effect — a luminous surface that shifts beautifully with light.

No two pieces are ever identical. Each Hurricane Classic carries subtle variations that reflect its handmade origin, making every object uniquely individual.
