Its distinctive bubble pattern is created using a cast-iron mould, giving each Hurricane Boule its characteristic optical effect, tactile surface and substantial feel. As every piece is individually handcrafted, subtle variations make each Hurricane Boule unique.

Designed as both a decorative glass candle holder and a vase, Hurricane Boule Regular brings sculptural character to the table, shelf or interior setting. A timeless piece of Bohemian glass craftsmanship, combining traditional techniques with the distinctive design language of Skogsberg&Smart.

How Hurricane Boule is made

Discover the iconic Hurricane Boule collection by Skogsberg & Smart — our most popular and ever-evolving design series, celebrated for its timeless appeal and exceptional craftsmanship.

Each Hurricane Boule is created using exclusive iron moulds, uniquely designed. Every mould is individually carved by hand, meaning no two are ever exactly alike — a subtle mark of true artisanal production.

The artistry lies in the perfect balance of glass. Skilled craftsmen carefully capture the precise proportion of coloured and clear molten glass to achieve the signature Boule expression — a harmonious interplay of depth, transparency, and light. For lighter shades, only coloured glass is used.

Most Hurricane Boule pieces are designed for dual use — equally elegant as a candle hurricane, a vase for fresh flowers, or as a standalone sculptural object that captures and reflects light within any interior.

Constantly evolving yet rooted in tradition, the Hurricane Boule collection embodies Scandinavian design at its finest — timeless, functional, and effortlessly sophisticated.
